Den 13 september 2026 avslöjades att jag har vunnit kategorin ”2D & relief work” vid International Polymer Clay Associations 2026 Global Exhibition med min tavla ”I’m Always There For You”.Jag har faktiskt vunnit den här utställningen en gång tidigare. Det var 2015 och då hade jag gjort ett konstverk i form av en klänning som hette ”Moonlight Dress”.
Jag har inte kvar det här verket ”I’m Always There For You”. Det såldes i somras till Folksam som hade det som pris i en av klasserna på den stora tävlingen Falsterbo Horse Show.

- Because it’s unexpected and humorous while perfectly expressing the message of the title.
- I appreciate the execution challenge on this piece, combining the two figures in action on a two dimensional and three dimensional level. Eva obviously has an active imagination and enjoys a challenge, as I do.
- I chose this piece because it is unexpected. It captured my heart not only with the title but with the action that is going on in the piece. It is the only piece where the artist moves off the edge of the background and the piece shows action in that way.

- I like the change of ’breaking through the wall’ and although Eva Marie is always focused on horses, this is a change from her usual sculptures

- Superb concept, design and craftsmanship! Not sure if it could be accomplished so beautifully in any other medium than polymer clay.
- The concept itself is strikingly original, but what gives the piece its emotional force is the tension between the two horses: the one above braced and straining, the one below hanging limp. Their muzzles meet nose to nose, almost as though in a final, parting kiss.

- Tough choice, I really liked the cactus, Mongolian woman, blending in, and clocks…. But the whimsy and maybe the timing of the piece had multiple meanings had me choosing this one.
