Creating the wild horses of Colorado

I always start with a sketch. My idea for my next Mosebacke Horse Sculpture was to symbolize Colorado. I wanted to do this with two wild horses. I am not sure if they are really angry, it is more like they want to show power and wilderness. I chose the color of their bodies from the sand and the red rocks in Colorado. You know that Colorado means ”Color red”?

I also made some inscriptions on their bodies to give an impression of indian culture.
