First I mixed the exact color I wanted for the blue part of the horse’s neck and back. As I use FIMO Professionals True Colors, I used blue and magenta in the proportions showed in the photo. That made a slightly darker blue color.
The pasta machine provided a thin sheet of the blue clay I could use to cover the neck and the back. Then I conditioned black clay, and covered the rest of the horse’s body with a thin sheet of it.
