Horses
The horse has been a companion and a faithful friend to humans through history. As a consequence of this there are also plenty of horses in the art. You can hardly visit an art museum without seeing a lot of horses, and if you go to public places, you will often see horse statues – with or without riders on their backs. The oldest known cave paintings are about 30,000 years old. Many of the great masters like Picasso, da Vinci and Degas made portraits of horses.
So, therefore, it’s easy to answer the question why I have chosen to create horses in polymer clay. The answer is simply that I manage a millennial tradition. In addition, I love these fantastic creatures and I spend a lot of my time with these wonderful animals.
