26: Zebra

Of course I’m writing about zebras. A zebra is a kind of horse. Strange enough, I have only done a few zebras during my time as a horse sculptor. Perhaps because a zebra is so incredibly difficult to create. It may seem simple, but it’s usually the things that look the easiest that are the hardest to create.

I have not been happy with the few zebras that I created, even though those who bought them were very satisfied. Another example that, as a creator and one who regards what I created, I do not always have the same opinion …

Well, I’ll eventually take my time and create a zebra. I must only come up with some really good ideas about how to do it. A Mosebacke Horse Sculpture is not  onlycolors and expressions, it’s also a matter of figuring out good techniques to create the effects I want. And as you know at this point: When it comes to polymer clay, the possibilities are virtually unlimited!

This is a December calendar with brief views in alphabetical order throughout advent, over Christmas and until New Year’s Eve. Every day is a new word.
