The Swedish language has some vowels that do not exist in English, namely Å, Ä, and Ö. In translations of eg names you can substitute å with an a or aa.
Å is the sound you can hear in the beginning of the english word “all”.

Ålder = Age

I am 60 years old, and when I write this, it seems unreal. People who are 60 years old are OLD, right? And I do not feel old at all. However, I guess that I have accumulated a lot of experience over the years, experiences that I can use to think in new ways in new situations and to more easily understand complex situations, technology or events. I have learned to see things from different perspectives. When I was younger I tended, like other young persons, to see things from one or a just a few perspectives.

Another big advantage of being older is that people now listen to what I say. When I was younger, it was as though they only saw a blonde girl and did not care about what I said. And if I talked more loudly because I wanted someone to listen, I was told that I should calm down and listen to others who knew better.

Age is a big advantage in my creative business. I do not care so much about what others think, if I’m happy with what I create it’s OK. That gives me a lot of artistic freedom, so I can freely explore the polymer clay and its limits, only bound by my own limits (ex horses). At the same time, it’s not hard for me to go outside the boundaries, I just have to ask myself. 😊

Another advantage of being older is that my beloved children now so old that they can take care of themselves. It gives me a great freedom to no longer have to keep an eye on everything in their lives, more or less thinking about them around the clock.

This is a December calendar with brief views in alphabetical order throughout advent, over Christmas and until New Year’s Eve. Every day is a new word.
I am very interested in your thoughts on these subjects. Please share them in the comments field below. <3
