The spiral neck horse gets its shape in white clay

As usual, it starts with a ”skeleton” or armature of wire. You can see the sprial form of the neck to the left and the body of the horse will be created around the right part of the wire.

I use white polymer clay to shape the body and now you can get the first hints of how it will work out.  I will use bamboo skewers to make the armature for the legs.
