Transferring the contour of the horse

As you saw in the previous blog post, I made a pencil drawing of the horse from the photo.

Then I mixed a brown hue of polymer clay and used the pasta machine for making sheets, approximately 1 mm of thickness.

With one of my FIMO tools I transferred the outlines from the paper to the clay. After removing the paper I could follow the outlines with a small knife. After that it was really easy to pull away the excess clay. Now you can see the contours of the horse.
