Balancing Foal, part 3 – Mane and tail

tre_07 — The old cane that has been used for another piece of art.

Now when the foal has got a skin it is time to give it his mane and tail. I did not want to use Nepal Wool as in the Newborn Foal or the same kind of skinner blends as in Sleeping Wave.

tre_08 — Here you can see how I cut it up into small pieces.

tre_09 — The pieces were rolled into ”hairs”…

Si I decided to use a thick slice of an old cane. I cut it up in small pieces and rolled them into ”hairs”.
